Neovia Logistics Warehouse Import Export Specialist_Shift_1 in Jeffersonville, Indiana
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility of this position is to create invoices for export shipments in accordance with Husky work instructions.
Scheduling air and ocean pick up requests with trucking companies and freight forwarders to ensure flow of goods from origin to point of export.
Identifying and resolving issues arising during the shipping process including damaged, short, and overage of parts.
Completing post shipment tasks: such as emailing pre-alerts to dealers, updating shipment spreadsheets for tracking purposes, updating AS400 system shipment with sailing/flight details, updating Neovia SAP pick lists as shipped, and obtaining proof of export documentation and matching with each shipment
Responding to customer service requests via email and phone.
Creating month end reports.
JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the invoicing and transportation for export shipments in accordance with Husky work instructions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree and 1+ year work experience in a distribution environment or High School diploma (or GED) and 3 + years' work experience in logistics analyst role.
Exceptional communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Proficient with Computer, SAP, AS400 and Microsoft Office Applications. Understands warehouse management systems and processes.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
